Tips for Driving in Uganda Self-Driving Rules & regulations: Uganda has a pretty good road system that reaches just about every famous tourist destination in the country. However, the majority of the roads are gravel, and in the more remote areas, they become tracks, which need careful driving, safety considerations, and a second vehicle. Here are some tips to help get you to your travel destination safely.

Carry A Valid Driving License.

Drive on the left:
