Can anyone besides the reservation applicant drive the car?

Yes but anyone who will intend to drive the car must submit a valid driver’s license on the day the car will be picked up. If all drivers can’t be present on the day of pick-up, a copy of both their driver’s license (both sides) and passport must be prepared in advance and submitted.

How many months in advance can a reservation be made?

Vehicle reservations depend on the customer’s choice, say a year, months, days, a day, within hours in advance, even 30 minutes before pick-up if a vehicle is required at the last minute.
If the vehicle needs to be picked up within 30 minutes of the opening time of the station, the reservation must be made the day before, 30 minutes before the closing time.

Can I make changes to my reservation?

Any time, any minute, any second, we are at your service. As long as you have the previous reservation dates, and the same email address, you registered at the time of reservation, then you have all it takes to make changes to your reservation.

Can I make the parental choice of either an automatic or manual transmission vehicle?

Yes. The transmission type can be selected. We have both availabilities of automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

What are the fine procedures for picking up a car from your company?

Present any type of valid driver’s license, and a valid passport for verification purposes and, sign the Rental Agreement when you pick up the vehicle.

Once completed, please make payments according to the sum determined by the contents of the agreement. i.e Payment must be settled when the vehicle is picked up.

This does not apply to users who have paid in advance, who will pay only the remaining balance.

A short explanation of the vehicle will be provided, and the vehicle will be checked for existing scratches or other damages together with the user.

The rental car can be used as soon as the inspection has been completed

Can I arrange for the car to be delivered to a car parking lot or hotel?

Yes. We operate a delivery and pick-up service for parking lots and hotels. The available services and fees vary by region and the rental period. Please directly inquire with the concerned parking stations when making a reservation or contact our call centre.

Can I return the vehicle to a different destination?”

At 4×4 self-drive Uganda, we provide a one-way service that allows the return of the vehicle to a different rental station. Please note that a one-way fee may be charged depending on the distance between the pick-up and return rental stations

Can I rent a car without a reservation?
