Cross border charges for one way
4×4 self Drive Uganda allows you to hire a car from Uganda into Rwanda, Tanzania Burundi and Kenya. However you will need to buy a COMESA license Cover which costs from $20- minimum to $50 maximum. You can organize this during reservations, by informing the company that you intend driving cross borders from Uganda. Shall this be deemed, then you will be held completely responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle to Uganda.
How Much Should I pay for my one way car rental?
4×4 self drive Uganda offers variable one way car hire charges, depending on the location. Our offers depend on one way car hire drop off, one way car hire pick up or One way drop off & Pick up charge whose cost runs between $5 to $1000.
Most cross border one way drop off or pick up fee is at least $300 and more, depending on the destinations like Arusha, Kigali, Nairobi, Dar-es-salaam, Burundi among others
The one way car hire charges pays for: fuel costs for returning the car back to where it was picked, an overnight accommodation for the driver prior to the pick up date, and the driver’s fee.
