As of this, one must understand the policies that govern self-drive rentals predominantly when it comes to smoking in vehicles. With that being said, our company has policies that any client who rents a car must observe.

Our company usually rents out a vehicle to clients that need it and comes at a fee determined by several policies and restrictions jointly with differing levels of quality of the vehicle that is rated by the standard, intermediate and luxury.

Not all our car rentals are deemed smoke-free zones with your car hire terms and conditions always stipulating that no one is allowed to smoke in car hire. Unless the local legislation indicates otherwise, you will not be breaching any laws by lighting up in the vehicle. However, this means that you will be subjecting yourself to a potentially vast cleaning bill for the vehicle.

In case you break any of the stipulated terms and you smoke inside the car hire, this won’t only expose you to surplus cleaning charges, but also cause damage from either a cigarette burn or worse as it can result in an accident, and this may exhibit your insurance invalidated for using the vehicle outside what the terms and conditions hence exposing you to a cleaning bill that perhaps you never prepared for.

Although e-cigarettes usually do not emit the same smoke or a lasting smell on car fabrics which could leave you with a cleaning bill for the vehicle, smoking in a rental e-cigarette can still lead you to unnecessary distractions.

Other policies in line with our company include a security deposit, paid via a payment pesapal. Some clients may prefer a drop-off of the vehicle at a certain point in that the rental can be cross-checked by an associate.

On the other hand, people above 18 years are eligible to rent a vehicle from our company. All you need is a valid passport which should have your photo and a valid driving permit.
